Another Project of Supplying Power System into...OPS PASIR Island

DynaSynergy was appointed to supply, install and commission generating sets for the Ops Pasir Islands.   The project was crucial for the Malaysian Government in combating the influx of illegal immigrants entering the country via the sea of Sabah.  Due to the long coastlines of Sabah, new and additional islands have to be chosen as military base for the purpose of continuous surveillance. 

Renewed Life for an 8 MW Diesel Generating Set at SESB Tawau Power Station

Dynasynergy has been entrusted to completely refurbish one unit of 8 MW Pielstick Diesel Generating Set (DG Set No.5B) at SESB Tawau Station. The scope of work included replacing a broken Crankshaft, Major overhauling of the Diesel Engine and Major Inspection of its AC Generator.

During the Performance Test, the maximum output recorded for the DG Set was 8.19 MW. The performance of the DG Set after refurbishment is well exceeded the expected & guaranteed output as stipulated in the contract.

An Effective Cooling Water System for Tenom Pangi Hydro Power Station

In optimizing the performance of the largest hydro station in Sabah with the capacity of 3 x 22 MW, a group of engineering experts from TNB Research Sdn. Bhd. and Uniten has designed an effective cooling water system for the turbine bearings and generator. The cooling water system has been functioning effectively in eliminating trashes from the river cooling water. The end result is higher efficiency and less down time. Dynasynergy is the main contractor in completing the project successfully.

Major Inspection of 30 MW GE Gas Turbine at SESB Patau-Patau Station

Dynasynergy has successfully completed the Major Inspection of 2 x 30 MW GE Gas Turbine (GT1 & GT2) at Sabah Electricity Sdn. Bhd. Patau-Patau Power Station in Labuan W.P.. The project was undertaken in collaboration with Tenaga Nasional Repair and Maintenance Sdn. Bhd. (REMACO). The major inspection for GT 1 & GT 2 was successfully completed in less than 30 days.

Top Overhauling of one unit 8000 kW Diesel Generating Set servicing the East Coast Grid has been successfully completed at SESB Tawau Power Station. The project inclusive of supply of necessary genuine pielstick spare parts.
